• Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional support of cats with Feline Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD)
• For a healthy urinary system, cats require a precise balance of minerals to prevent crystals from forming in the urine which can lead to the creation of painful bladder stones and other complications
• This formula has shown to dissolve struvite stones in as little as 7 days, with an average of 27 days
• It has also been demonstrated to reduce the recurrence rate of FIC signs by 89%
• The controlled levels of magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium helps to limit the risk of recurrence/occurrence of struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis
• The addition of Potassium Citrate also aids in preventing oxalate crystals and uroliths
• High in antioxidants (Vitamin E and Beta-Carotene) to control cell oxidation and promote a strong immune system
• Formulated with high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) from fish oil to help decrease inflammation and irritation in the bladder wall
• The formula is designed to create an optimal urinary pH of 6.2-6.4 – this reduces the risk of crystal oxalate and struvite stone formation

Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

Primary Indications:

• Calcium oxalate urolithiasis – decreases recurrence
• Calcium phosphate urolithiasis – decreases recurrence
• Struvite dissolution
• Struvite urolithiasis – decreases recurrence
• Mild – moderate stages of heart disease, including asymptomatic
• Heart disease – advanced stages

Other Indications:

• All cases of FLUTD initially
• Feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC)

Contraindications:

• Kittens, pregnant or lactating queens
• Concurrent use of urinary acidifiers

Feeding Instructions

• It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before and during the use of this product in order to determine the needs of your cat
• Feed this food exclusively
• Adjust feeding amount to maintain optimum weight
• The daily feeding amount may be divided into 2+ meals per day
• Always provide fresh drinking water
• Recommended time of use
  • Reduction of struvite stones recurrence: initially up to 6 months
  • Dissolution of struvite stones: 5-12 weeks
  • Reduction of oxalate stones formation: up to 6 months
