Indications

Virbac Pyoderm shampoo is a veterinary product for both dogs and cats, recommended to treat skin infections, in particular pyoderma, Malassezia dermatitis and bacterial growth associated with lesions, inflammation and itching. It has a 3% chlorhexidine base which purifies the epidermis and inhibits the proliferation of germs, thus attenuating inflammatory reactions. Pyoderm reduces skin irritation and helps to rebalance the skin ecosystem.

Features

Virbac Pyoderm is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory shampoo to be used for both dogs and cats in case of pyoderma, dermatitis and skin itching. Its effectiveness is guaranteed by:

  • 3% chlorhexidine , a broad spectrum antiseptic that inhibits the action of microbes responsible for redness and lesions;
  • Spherulites , to ensure skin hydration and reduce dryness;
  • Monosaccharides and Alkyl Poly Glucoside , which limit bacterial spread and have an anti-irritant effect.

How to use

Wet the pet’s coat with lukewarm water and apply the shampoo once, then rinse and repeat the application of the shampoo respecting a setting time of 5 minutes. Finally rinse with clean warm water. Use up to 2-3 times per week as needed.

Warnings and Contraindications

For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Formulated in such a way as to minimize the risk of allergic reactions (absence of allergenic substances).
